Well I?ve broken my foot so that?s slowed everything down for me [img]frown.gif[/img]

But I?ve been trying to develop a script idea - I'll throw this one out there and see what you guys think.

Well with the limitation of 3 actors and one location i was thinking about doing a film about Mercy killing.

I was thinking about the set up being a woman terminally ill and wanting to end her life (no fit sate to do so by herself) and the rest of the cast made up from a lover and her brother. One who agrees and wants to help her and one who doesn?t. I think this could be a powerful and personal story.

Opinions please guys?

abit different from wot we got so far, but i like it... if the script is right.

It seems like one of those tough ones where the outcome is either fantastic or totally crap.
Maybe need a couple of big turning points through it? add abit of 'shock' in there, with maybe a supprise ending?

I'm totally open to suggestions - It would be great if the writing of it was a group effort.

Just shooting some ideas about:
I was thinking about her in the end finding the strength to kill herself wile her bro and lover are outside the room arguing about it. Maybe the both totally stop in there tracks when they hear the sound (maybe a gun shot i don?t no).

What i think would be really good is if it wasn?t so much about what is right and wrong but it being about the right to chose. And i think maybe in a way by her ending it it really says that.

Meh what do i know. Opinions please

ok thinking it through some more -

a gun is a bit extreme, another idea is when they are argueing she takes out a wire of somthing that she could be attacted to (medical equipment)and you see her slowly dying and crying coz she can see them shouting at eachother and she wants to say goodbye but its too late and they stop shouting when they hear the machine make that extended beep at death.

i like it, only thing is, if a woman was that bad, surely she wouldnt be at home, she wud be in hospital...

maybe just have her take some pills and slowly die off with the 2 ppl arguing in the background, and have it as a long shot where they continue to argue while shes dead - might give the feeling of being 'alone'?

Also - maybe have it starting with the 2 people helping the woman into their appartment like shes just come outta hospital... and have like a 'flashback' of sounds and have children screaming and the sound of fire, like shes just recovering from a house fire in which her family died, and she cant cope and all that... mite be abit too harsh for 10 mins or woteva... but its jst an idea.

and ideas is exactly what we want. On the hospital front if she was termanly ill and suffering and there is nothing they can do they often let them home. Thought guys?

As for the flash back this is totally up to JB - I don?t think he is keen on them but if we get the thumbs up i don?t see why we cant look at it.

hehehe another idea - if we turn the brother into a talking pie we have a comedy.
